Pipesnapper Welding Supply, LLC, based in East Greenbush, New York has started working local machine shops to manufacture the Model 25SL specialty welding tool. Pipesnapper™ clamps for piping sizes ¼ inch to 8 inches and tube sizes 0.75 to 6 inches will be produced and sold. Pipesnapper™ Mini 19 for small joints and Model 50 for larger pipe and plate fit up will be produced and sold. Pipesnapper™ tools will provide welding fabricators the leading edge in accurate quality welds in fabrication, maintenance and new construction. Pipesnapper™ alignment clamps allow one individual to set the three steps of alignment in seconds. The proprietary design (patent pending) of the alignment device has three key functions. Adjustable non-rotating jaws positioned to engage the materials to be jointed. Adjustable gap pins used to maintain the desired weld gap and to minimize the affects of shrinkage on the gap pins during the cooling of the tack weld. Allows tack welds to be installed while maintaining a secure alignment.
